Privacy policy

Effective 11 August 2026. Data controller: THE WELL-BEING FOUNDATION LTD, trading as BWEN, registered in Uganda.

1. What we collect

• Order information — your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and what you ordered.
• Payment information — handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the amount. We do not receive or store your full card number.
• Correspondence — messages you send us about an order, a quote or a return.

2. Why we use it

• To process, ship and confirm your order.
• To answer your questions and handle returns or refunds.
• To issue receipts and invoices, and to keep the accounting and tax records we are required to keep.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

• Our payment provider, to process your payment securely.
• Delivery and courier services, so your order can reach you.
• Our hosting provider, which stores this website.
• Authorities, only where the law requires it.

4. International transfers

We are based in Uganda. Some of our providers operate in other countries, so your information may be processed outside your own country when you order from us.

5. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for seven years to meet Ugandan tax and accounting requirements. General correspondence is kept for up to two years.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email enquiries@b-wen.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies set are strictly necessary for the site to function.

8. Security

We limit access to customer information to the staff who need it to fulfil orders, and we rely on a PCI-compliant payment provider so that card data never reaches our systems.
